DAL BURFI

needed:
channa dal & moong dal  - tog 1/2 cup
(m.dal take little more than c.dal)
coconut - 1/2 cup grated
milk or water for grinding
cashewnut or any other -1/2 cup
sugar- double the measurement of the ground paste
elachi powder

mtd:
dry roast the dal to golden brown . keep aside.
1st grind the dal to a powder.then add the grated coconut,kaju & grind to a smooth paste adding milk as req.
in a thick pan add the paste ,sugar,& stir constant so that it doesnt stick to the bottom.
stir till u get the desired burfi consistency.
add elachi powder ,mix well .
spread in a greased plate.allow to cool & put pieces.

note:
no need to add color.
